THE CALL – a new dramatic short film with an anti-smoking message
Today, more than 600,000 middle school students and 3 million high school students smoke cigarettes.
Tobacco companies target youth by their clever ads, knowing full well that the earlier a person starts, the more difficult it is to quit.
Attempts to counter these attacks on youth hardly stand a chance: Big Tobacco spends $1 million an hour to market their products. In one day they outspend what tobacco control agencies spend in a year.
Clearly, more needs to be done to stop kids from smoking!
THE CALL is a film with a unique anti-smoking message.

THE CALL is based on an award-winning screenplay. Our exceptionally talented cast includes Ryan Newman, Jonathan Morgan Heit, and Menahem Zilberman. Our fabulous Director, Stephen Messer, is a 25-year member of the Directors’ Guild of America, with credits on many features, television series, PSAs, etc.

Our film has been shot, but we need your help to complete the editing and all the finishing touches, develop a curriculum to be used in schools, and market and distribute the film.
